RE Photos Services Terms and Conditions
Scheduling:
Appointments can be scheduled via our online submission system. We strive to choose the optimal time of day considering weather conditions, but ensuring favorable weather at the scheduled time is ultimately the Client’s responsibility. RE Photos reserves the right to adjust your appointment based on logistics to best serve our extensive client network. We will provide proper notice via phone, text, and email if any changes are necessary.
Travel and Parking Charges:
We aim to avoid additional travel charges as we believe in transparent pricing. However, for appointments exceeding 90 minutes round trip, we will charge $150 per hour beyond this distance. Travel is calculated from ‘Brisbane CBD’ as per Google Maps directions. We schedule our Creative Specialists efficiently to minimise travel and potential fees. If parking fees are incurred, we will seek the most economical option and bill clients directly for any associated charges.
Payments:
All payments must be made within the terms outlined on the invoice. A late payment fee of $15 will apply if payment is not received by the due date. Interest may accrue at 10% per annum, calculated weekly for invoices overdue by more than 7 days.
Cancellations/Rescheduling:
We offer flexibility for rescheduling due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. A $200 cancellation fee applies for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice. No-show appointments, defined as arriving 30 minutes after the scheduled time, are also subject to a $200 cancellation fee.
Filming/Photography:
RE Photos has full creative liberty in selecting the best compositions, which rooms to photograph, and the number of photos per room unless specified in advance. If additional photos or angle changes are required, we will bill accordingly for a second visit to the property.
Liability and Insurance:
RE Photos is covered under a $10M public liability policy, available upon request. Our drone operators have the appropriate CASA licence/accreditation. Our team may use their discretion to deem a job unsafe due to weather, proximity to airports, or other conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason to ensure safety.
Property Readiness:
Please make sure the property is ‘shoot-ready’ when our Creative Specialists arrive. You’ll receive a “pre-shoot checklist” with your appointment confirmation to help you prepare. We suggest arriving early to turn on lights, declutter, and remove cars from the driveway. Our team will make minor adjustments based on their discretion, but they are not responsible for moving, altering, or cleaning items and properties will be shot “AS-IS”. RE Photos is not responsible for locking doors, windows, or other access points, turning off lights, or fireplaces prior to our departure and liability.
Return Charges:
If a reshoot is required due to the property not being ready, decor changes, or additional photos/videos beyond the original scope, a $200 fee will apply, or the reshoot will be treated as a separate booking. RE Photos reserves the right to apply this fee at its discretion.
Asset Delivery:
We aim to deliver photography and floor plans by 10am next-business-day and real estate videos within 2-5 business days. All deliverables will be provided via a delivery link accessible from your Order Dashboard on our Portal.
Floor Plans:
Floor plans are approximations with estimated square meterage. RE Photos does not guarantee exact measurements. Our floor plans are for artistic purposes and should not be used as precise measuring tools.
Refunds:
All sales are final, and RE Photos does not offer refunds. Cancelled appointments that have been paid for may receive a credit on your RE Photos account, including retainers.
Photography Revisions:
Our standard editing includes color, exposure and basic retouching on all images.
For properties that need deeper cleanup (removing cables, greening lawns, tidying driveways / pools and heavy marks), we offer Image Polish:
Hero Polish: detailed cleanup on your key marketing images
Full Polish: detailed cleanup across the full photo set
Digital Declutter (per image): full contents of a room removed so it appears empty
These services are not included by default. If you know a property needs extra work, you can add them when you book or request them after the shoot. We’ll always confirm any additional costs with you before proceeding. Advanced edits or object removals outside the options above are billed per image. Standard retouching is included in our pricing. Any additional Photoshop editing will incur an additional fee.
Video Revisions:
Videos delivered are considered final versions, with one round of revisions included. If we have made an error, these will be revised until fixed. Music choices are final, any music selections must be communicated before the day of shoot. If we select the music, you agree that we are not responsible if it does not meet your preference. Any changes after the final video delivery will be charged at $100 per revision.
Matterport:
Matterport spaces will be hosted on RE Photos’ account for six months from the appointment date. An additional six months of hosting is available (see pricing page for current rates). You can host one active space for free by creating your own Matterport account, and we can transfer the space to your account.
Asset Rights and License:
All photos and videos, along with associated rights, remain the sole property of RE Photos. Clients receive a limited licence to publicly display and distribute the media solely for property promotion. Media is for single-use and must not be duplicated, edited, or sold to third parties without consent from RE Photos.
